Bridge! The Construction Game

Humanity has been building bridges for around 11,000 years, although these early constructions from the Mesolithic period had little in common with today’s bridges – they were merely woven wooden structures placed on stones. However, they were the precursors of modern bridges, serving the same purpose: crossing a river without getting wet feet.

In BRIDGE!, you build bridges out of metal, spanning up to 300 meters. Suspension bridges, drawbridges, and combinations are also part of your tasks. BRIDGE! turns you into both a structural engineer and a project manager. Solve the puzzle of bridging the gap with limited budget and parts, ensuring smooth operation. 30 diverse missions with increasing difficulty await, challenging you to solve them with your own personal architectural masterpieces. Overcome the challenge with clever use of 15 different types of components. In addition to simple iron and steel girders, suspension cables and hydraulics are ready for use, allowing you to build drawbridges, suspension bridges, or hybrid combinations. But construction is only part of the challenge. Various strains, from simple road traffic to heavy rail freight and ship passages, are just the beginning.

Your biggest enemy, however, is the forces of nature like floods, storms, and earthquakes. Will your bridge withstand the test or will it end in disaster? Your efforts won’t go unrewarded. By successfully completing missions, you unlock new parts and scenarios for the integrated mission editor. Create new challenges and share them with your friends. This bridge-building game, with its tricky missions, provides an interesting alternative to popular concentration and strategy games, requiring the player’s full attention. Simultaneous with the box release, an add-on for BRIDGE will also be available. The “Bridge Expansion Pack” introduces a new scenario and new component types, adding both visual and gameplay variety. The new missions promise many hours of additional fun. With the new mission browser, you can download missions from other users directly in-game or share your own with others.
